She was honored at her home by a socially distant parade of administrators and with a bouquet of flowers. Katie will speak to seniors at the conclusion of the Baccalaureate Mass. Congratulations Katie!

Mercy alumna visual arts teacher and department chair, Ms. Susan Smith '84, was selected as this year’s recipient of the Inspiring Art Teacher Scholastic Award. Students cited Ms. Smith’s commitment to art education and the customized support she dedicates to each student as the reason she was overwhelmingly nominated. Congratulations to Ms. Smith on this well-deserved professional recognition!

Gary Morris, like many head coaches, is focused on the day-to-day journey of a season. The 15-year head coaching veteran at Mercy High School tries not to dwell on long-term goals or what "could be." The focus is on the next game.

Regional Scholastic Art Awards Competition 2019-2020

Congratulations to the 19 students from Mercy’s Art Department who won 36 awards in this year’s Regional Scholastic Art Awards competition.

Special congratulations to seniors Angela Rea and Lili Omilian who had award winning portfolios. Angela’s portfolio made finalist status and will compete in New York City for talent scholarships.
