Adopt-a-Seat

Please have a seat! Your own seat that is, in Mercy High School’s Rosemary Clooney Auditorium. Join us in celebrating over fifty years of memorable events and performances.

Through Mercy’s Adopt-A-Seat Program, you will be able to participate in maintaining this beautiful 1,200-seat auditorium.  Our current project will enhance the auditorium sound system to improve quality and clarity.

In return for your donation, you will receive an engraved brass nameplate, prominently affixed to the arm. Take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become a part of the Mercy legacy. You can take pride in knowing that your gift will benefit many future generations of performers.

Q. May I specify a name other than my own?
A. Yes. You may use this opportunity to honor someone you admire or want to see remembered. The nameplate can be engraved using two lines with up to 24 characters per line.

Q. Will my name actually appear on the seat?
A. Yes. Each seat will have an engraved brass nameplate affixed to the arm.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The minimum donation is $200 per chair.

Q. My company is a matching gift participant. Can matching gifts be used?
A. Yes. Get a matching gift form from your employer or contact your human resources department.

Q. Are gifts tax deductible?
A. Yes. All gifts are tax deductible subject to the limits of the law
