Thank you Mercy community! We raised over $2000 in the pink out for breast cancer awareness day held last month. The money was split equally and sent to Angel Pillow Project, Beaumont Sharing & Caring and Trinity Health Hospital Livonia Marian Women's Center. We received a lovely thank you letter from Angel Pillow Project/Gilda's Club recognizing us for eight years of donations totaling over $25,000! Mercy HS will also be acknowledged on the Gilda's Donor Wall.
Mercy High School is now accepting applications for a Special Events Manager to join the Advancement Department and a JV Head Tennis Coach.
We encourage a broadly diverse pool of applicants for all positions as we work intentionally to create a faculty that reflect our student body. Click links below or visit mhsmi.org/employment for position description, requirements, and application procedure.
ALL PARENTS of ALL GRADE LEVELS are invited and encouraged to get involved with the Senior All Night Party. Please join us for a kick-off planning meeting!
The Black Catholic Heroes Exhibit is now available to view at Mercy High School in the Auditorium/Gym Lobby. This exhibit is a collection of images of Black Catholics painted by students employed by the College for Creative Studies’ Detroit Neighborhood Arts Corps.
Mercy values in action! As we enter into this season of thanks, one of the ways that Mercy High School expresses gratitude is by giving back to the community. For decades we have been an important partner to Focus: HOPE in their efforts to serve those in the Metro Detroit area. Focus: HOPE provides assistance to over 40,000 low income seniors every year through monthly food assistance, health screenings and so much more.
Shout out to Abby Slankster '24 for winning the Metrot Detroit Athlete of the Week for her strong performance at the Golf state championships. Read feature about Abby here.
