On April 30, 2026, Mercy’s Chapter 493 of the Société Honoraire de Français held its 81st Induction Ceremony. 12 Mercy students were inducted in recognition of their dedication to excellence in the study of the French language and its rich culture and have actively contributed to and promoted a variety of French-related activities and projects at Mercy.
Mercy’s Chapter 493 is proud to engage with the greater Detroit community through meaningful cultural experiences. Through partnerships with individuals and local businesses, students participate in authentic, experiential learning opportunities that bring French culture to life—exploring film, music, cuisine, and art in real-world settings.
