2026 Girls Catholic School Sailing Regatta

The team of Corrina Rebain ‘28 and Bella Goolsby ‘28 competed in the Girls Catholic Schools Sailing Regatta in New Orleans, LA on Feb 7-8. Hosted by Ursuline Academy, the oldest Catholic School in North America and oldest girls school in the US, girls travelled from California, Texas, Minnesota, Maryland, and Illinois to join teams from Ursuline in a weekend of sailing. The weekend also held plenty of inter school camaraderie, including a crawfish boil, tours of the museum at Ursuline Academy (including letters from Thomas Jefferson to the Ursuline sisters), Mardi Gras festivities and a beautiful outdoor lakeside Mass. This Mercy team improved all weekend and placed 9th out of a field of 17 teams and represented the Marlins well on a national stage.
