D1 No. 8 Farmington Hills Mercy Sweeps Livonia Stevenson for Title
Division 1 No. 8-ranked Farmington Hills Mercy swept Livonia Stevenson to win the Michigan High School Athletic Association District 18 volleyball championship on Friday, November 4 at Mercy.
Mercy won the match 25-13, 25-18, 25-21.
Mercy beat Farmington 3-0 and Stevenson beat Southfield Arts & Technology 3-0 in the district semifinals on Wednesday, November 2.
Mercy advances to face No. 2-ranked Northville in the Region 5 semifinals on Tuesday, November 8 at Lincoln Park.
Northville beat Novi 3-0 to win the District 17 championship at Northville on Thursday, November 3 to advance.
Livonia Franklin faces Allen Park in the other regional semifinal.
