Class of 2022 Valedictorian & Salutatorian Finalists

We are proud to announce the Class of 2022 Valedictorian Julia Rea and Salutatorian Anna Rimatzki. Julia and Anna exemplify academic excellence, responsibility to serve, and a willingness to be a voice for dignity and respect for the Mercy community.
 
We congratulate all of our *Valedictorian/Salutatorian Finalists who represent the core values of Mercy education and are extraordinary women who make a difference! This distinction considers academic record, leadership, service, extracurricular involvement, staff and student feedback.

Student Handbook: *The Valedictorian and Salutatorian will be chosen by the administrative team with input from staff and seniors using the following criteria for candidates: 1) Strength of overall academic program: GPA (3.95 minimum qualification for application after the seventh semester); 2) Verification of leadership in the school; 3) Verification of service (inside and outside school); 4) Writing ability and speaking ability; 5) Involvement in extracurricular activities (i.e. clubs, sports, etc.); 6) Support of school policies (attendance, school rules, etc.). All qualified candidates who complete the application process and fulfill the criteria will be considered finalists for the selection process.
