On Saturday, January 31, Mercy Latin students attended the 76th annual Michigan Junior Classical League State Convention at Michigan State University, joining hundreds of other Latin scholars from across the state. Accolades for Coach Venos
Congratulations to Mercy Swim & Dive Coach Mike Venos who has been named a National Finalist for the 2025-26 National High School Athletic Coaches Association Coach of the Year award by the Michigan High School Coaches Association (MHSCA). He will be honored along with the other finalists at the end of June.

AOD Mass for 2026 Catholic Schools Week
Khloe Duneske, Natalie Terrill, Hailey Thostenson, and Izzy Vanhoof represented Mercy at the Archdiocese of Detroit Catholic Schools Week Mass at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, attended by schools from across the Archdiocese. They were joined by Ms. Ronayne and Mrs. Sattler for this special celebration of faith and the gift of Catholic education.
