MHSAA Updates
As further government direction impacts summer athletic activity and return to school sports, the MHSAA will continue to provide updates in this format with effective dates listed with each change or addition to allowed activities.

Please refer to this page frequently for updated documents, which will be listed in sequence below:
2020-21 Athletic Dates
All Athletes are required to have completed the FinalForms Profile.
  • Registration by the listed dates required to try-out. There is NO participation without registration by the deadline. Please select all sports in which you are interested in FinalForms, as well as completing registration survey-- this system of double-checking allows for greater accuracy.
    • For the 2020-21 school year, you have two options for the physical required to start classes at Mercy:
      1. A physical performed on/after 4/15/2020.
      2. A physical performed on/after 4/15/2019 AND the Questionnaire form. The questionnaire allows us to use a physical dated 4/15/2019-4/14/2020 for the 2020-21 school year.
      • If you are new to Mercy, we will need BOTH the 2019-20 Physical & Questionnaire form if you are using your 2019-20 physical.
      • If you are a returning Mercy student who had a physical in 2019-20, it is already recorded & we only need the Questionnaire form.
    • For either option, please upload to FinalForms or scan and send to athletics@mhsmi.org
  • Try-Out times will be on the Athletic Calendar and listed here. Please be prepared to attend ALL try-out sessions. For planning purposes, tryouts are generally the 1st three days of the season (8/12-8/15 if season starts on 8/12).
  • Practices begin as soon as try-outs are completed, please be aware of this when scheduling vacations/events.
