  • All Athletes are required to have an M.H.S.A.A. physical dated on or after April 15th, 2018 as part of a complete Privit account.  
  • Registration by the listed dates required to try-out. There is NO participation without complete registration.
  • Try-Out times will be on the Athletic Calendar and Team Pages as available. Please be prepared to attend ALL try-out sessions.
  • Practices begin as soon as try-outs are completed, please be aware of this when scheduling vacations/events.

Dance is a two-season sport. Try-outs will be in March/April, 2018 for the 2018-19 team. The team begins practices in September and runs through the end of February.
For the 2018-19 Season: MANDATORY Parent Informational Meeting on Wednesday, 5/9/2018, at 6:30 pm in the Mercy Cafeteria.
Try-outs will consist of two practice days and one audition day: 6-9 pm on 5/14, 5/16, and 5/18.

Pompon is a two-season sport. The team begins practices in September and runs through the end of February.
For the 2018-19 Season: MANDATORY Parent Informational Meeting on Tuesday, 4/24/2018, at 7 pm in the Mercy Gym.
Try-outs will consist of two clinic days and one performance day: 6-8 pm on 4/25 and 4/26/2018, 9:30 am- 12:30 pm on 4/28/2018.

Mercy High School upholds a strong tradition of competitive athletics in 18 sports, including 5 club sports. All teams are eligible to participate in the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) or applicable state tournaments and 16 participate in the Detroit Catholic High School League (CHSL). Mercy's facilities include a gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, full-size track, two fields, and two enclosed softball diamonds. Student athletes at Mercy are strongly encouraged to hold academic excellence as their primary goal. Any student wanting to participate in a sport must maintain 2.0 overall GPA in order to be eligible for competition. In addition, all athletes must have a current MHSAA physical and Mercy Athletic Forms in Privit prior to tryouts. For the 2017-18 School Year, a current MHSAA Physical must be performed and dated on or after 4/15/2017.
