Thank you for your interest in Mercy High School! We are proud to be a Catholic, college preparatory school Educating Women Who Make a Difference since 1945. While this is a unique school year, please know we are here to help your family and future Marlin through the Mercy Admissions process. We invite you to read through the Mercy Difference brochure and check out the supplement about our COVID-19 School Plan and learning models to see how Mercy is helping our students continue to grow academically, spiritually and socially.

FAMILY TOURS FOR 8TH GRADERS

We are excited to welcome your family for a tour of Mercy High School! 8th graders and their parents are welcome to sign-up here for a timeslot to come and tour our beautiful campus on Wednesdays beginning in October. Please be advised we are currently in our Hybrid Learning Model and Wednesdays are online remote learning days from home for the entire school, so you will not see full classes in-person during your tour.
 
Students will receive a shadow bag with Mercy spirit items. We can't wait to show you what a Mercy education can offer your daughter. Enjoy a one-on-one tour with an Admissions Director and meet members of Administration. Please note that symptom tracker submission form and masks are required. Social distancing protocols will be in effect.

If you are and 8th grader unable to join us for a family tour, please fill out the online 8th grade shadow request form and we will match you up with a current student via email and send you a shadow bag with Mercy spirit items in the mail. We are not scheduling in-person student shadow visits at this time, due to the COVID-19 health and safety protocols. The shadow a student process is being determined for the 2020-21 school year and additional opportunities and information will be communicated and available in October 2020. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you at Mercy soon!

High School Placement Test  
Please note there will be no High School Placement Test for admittance to Mercy High School for the 2021-22 school year. 
 
Application
The application for the Class of 2025 will be posted to our web site on October 15 and application materials for the first round of acceptance letters is due by Friday, December 18. Please stay connected to https://www.mhsmi.org/admissions.
 
Merit Scholarships 
We are happy to be offering Mercy Merit Scholarships for the Class of 2025. This opportunity is designed to recognize academic excellence considering there is no High School Placement Test requirement for the 2021-22 school year. Students interested in applying for a Mercy Merit Scholarship must have all A's in 7th grade and the first quarter of 8th grade in all academic subjects, as well as a 90th percentile or higher on their most recent standardized test. In addition, there is a one page essay requirement detailing how you live the Mercy values of Mercy, Justice, Human Dignity, Option for the Poor, and Service in your everyday life. Please submit your essay to admissions@mhsmi.org by December 18, 2020. Entries will be evaluated when essay is submitted and application is complete. Award recipients will be notified with their acceptance letter at the end of January if they earned a $1,000 scholarship that will be renewable yearly with a 3.75 GPA.
