The experience was awesome and it taught us a lot about who we are as a team. We suffered through rained-out conditions, 12-14 hour days, upset and uncooperative horses, classes being run--scored, scores thrown out and classes rerun...etc. All the girls persevered and made Mercy proud with their positive attitudes and exceptional sportsmanship. Coach Steph showed her inner Mercy girl when she never stopped coaching despite being sick and having a fever for most of the weekend and laryngitis. Despite all of this, we pulled it out without complaint to place 6th. Everyone walked away from this weekend with memories to last a lifetime. We are very proud of our team and looking forward to placing even higher next year!
