*Campers will be asked to remain at camp through the performance. Dinner will be provided.
The Mercy Performing Arts Camp is designed to make your child feel like a Broadway star! Students will be immersed into the world of musical theatre as they sing, dance, and perform the day away. All skill levels welcome! Camp will culminate in a one night only performance of Disney's Dare to Dream Jr., a musical celebrating 100 years of Disney movies, performed in the Mercy High School Auditorium. Learn more here.

- Basketball Camp

The focus of the 2026 Girls Basketball Camp at Mercy High School is to provide an opportunity for each young lady to improve her basketball skills and learn new basketball concepts while making friends and having an enjoyable week in a relaxed atmosphere.The camp is designed to provide an educational, competitive environment while allowing players to have fun while improving their basketball skills through group and individual participation.
Our experienced staff, with a staff-to-player ratio of 1-to-6, guarantees each player quality instruction and the assurance of receiving individual attention as needed. Directing the camp will be 23 year Mercy Varsity Basketball Coach, Gary Morris. During his time at Mercy, Coach Morris has led the Marlins to 10 Central Division, 5 Catholic High School League, 15 District, and two Regional Championships; along with one Final Four Appearance. He has been selected Coach of the Year by the Detroit Free Press, the Oakland Press, the Daily Tribune, HomeTownLife, Catholic League Coaches Association, and the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan. Coach Morris achieved his 500th career win in the 2024-25 season!
Assisting Coach Morris will be a staff of Mercy Basketball Coaches, as well as past and current Mercy Varsity Basketball Athletes.

What to Wear and Bring
Athletic attire consisting of basketball shoes, shorts or sweatpants, and a T-Shirt.
We will be on our feet the majority of the time, staying active, so please wear something that is comfortable and in accordance with the weather.
Players are encouraged to bring their own beverages in plastic or aluminum containers. For safety reasons, no glass bottles, please.
- Field Hockey Camp

Beginner Field Hockey Camp
Open to all girls entering grades 7 - 9 in Fall of 2026.
Our beginner camp teaches the basics of Field Hockey from technical skills to game play. The camp will concentrate on the fundamental skills and providing hands-on development while having fun learning the game of field hockey.

Advanced Camp
Open to all girls entering grades 9 - 12 in Fall of 2026.
Our Advanced Camp works to refine technical skills and tactical game play. The camp will focus on advanced drills and tactical drills with real time play.

The NextGen Lacrosse Organization is dedicated to promoting and advancing opportunities for young women in athletics, with a specific focus on the growth of women’s lacrosse across the state. Our mission is to empower female athletes through skill development, mentorship, and leadership, and lifelong success both on and off the field. By creating a supportive and inclusive environment, we aim to inspire the next generation of women in sports.
Our Camp: As a developmental camp led by alumni of the Mercy High School Lacrosse program, this initiative provides a structured pathway for aspiring athletes to elevate their skills with a seamless transition to the high school level, therefore ensuring continued excellence within the lacrosse community.

Girls 6-9th Grade Lacrosse Camp: July 15-17th, 2026
The older group will engage in advanced skill development, with an emphasis on refining technical abilities and enhancing tactical gameplay. The camp will incorporate higher-level drills while also providing opportunities for newer players to develop their understanding through live, game-based situations.

Our younger age group will focus on developing the fundamental skills and core principles of women’s lacrosse. The camp will emphasize foundational techniques through hands-on instruction, while fostering an engaging and enjoyable environment for learning the game.

Our camp schedule features three hours per day of engaging games and drills designed to develop both new and advanced players’ understanding of the fundamental concepts of women’s lacrosse. Participants will have scheduled breaks for snacks, hydration, and other needs throughout each session. At the conclusion of the camp, awards will be presented to both individuals and groups in recognition of their achievements. On the final day, we will also welcome a special guest speaker, Mercy alumna Jill Smith ’21. Read more about Jill on page 4.Stick/Goggles Rentals:
If you are new to lacrosse and would like to rent a stick or goggles for camp, please indicate this in the registration form below. If you need a stick, goggles, or both, be sure to check the appropriate box in the registration form. Rental equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will do our best to accommodate as many athletes as possible. Please note: renting a stick and goggles for camp will include a $30 upcharge for a stick and a $25 upcharge for goggles. Field hockey goggles may be used in place of lacrosse goggles.* Please note: sticks and goggles will be given out at the start of camp and must be returned at the end of each day. Rentals are only to be used during the duration of the camp *

Join Loretta Vogel and the Mercy HS Volleyball coaching staff for a fun and intense volleyball camp at Mercy High School this summer!
- All levels and abilities are welcome.
- No volleyball experience is necessary.
- Camps are not exclusive to Mercy High School students.
- All campers will receive a camp t-shirt.

Our All Skills Camp is designed for players who are interested in improving in all areas and skills associated with volleyball. Players will be instructed in all areas of volleyball including passing, setting, attacking, serving, etc. Emphasis will be placed on serving, ball control, and first contact skills. Players entering grades 4-12 are welcome to attend. Players do not need to attend Mercy High School to attend this camp.
4-5th Graders . . . . July 13-15, 5-6pm
6-8th Graders . . . . July 13-15, 6-8pm
9th Graders . . . . July 20-22, 5-7pm
10-12th Graders . . . . July 22-24, 5-7pm
Position Specific Camps
Our Position Camps are designed for any player interested in improving their setting, attacking/blocking and first contact skills. Players will work on position specific techniques with the goal to receive over 1,000 touches during the camp. Players entering grades 7-12 of all abilities and experience are welcome to attend.
