Nearly 130 people beat the heat to golf and dine to raise money for Mercy High School at the 17th Annual Meg Mallon Golf Outing and Dinner held July 9th at Fox Hills Golf Club in Plymouth.  Each golfer was outfitted with an autographed "Mercy Meg" hat, towel, golfballs, shoe totes, tees, and a smile.  Hazy temperatures didn't stop 36 spirited Alumnae from taking a swing with classmate and LPGA player Meg Mallon.  During dinner President Sr. Regina Marie Doelker, RSM paid tribute to the Mercy Dads Club for being named the Catholic League Dads Club of the Year and to 27 year golf coach and computer teacher Vicky Kowalski on her induction into the Catholic League Hall of Fame.

Special THANK YOU's go to our dear Alumna and friend Meg Mallon who gives back to her school each year by presiding over the golf outing and insists she has "more and more fun every year."  To Steve Garagiola who generously emcees our dinner and raises the raffle roof!  To members of the golf outing committee, Paul and John Mallon, and the special events office for their untiring efforts to put on such a fun and friend-filled day.  To all our loyal Mercy golfers, guests, parents, alumnae and sponsors.
