It's not too late to join our TEA PARTY!

The 4th Annual Tea for Tuition is this Sunday, April 27 from 2 - 4pm in the Mercy gymnasium. If you'd like to come with a friend or two or bring your mother along, contact alumnaeoffice@mhsmi.org to register yourself at a Mercy "mingler table." $25 per person; space is still available!

Unable to join us this year? Be a part of the Absent-Tea. New this year, we are accepting donations in any amount from Alumnae who live out of town or are simply unable to make it this year. Send your donation to the Mercy High School Alumnae Office 29300 W. Eleven Mile Rd Farmington Hills, MI 48336 and you will be featured as an Absent-Tea contributor. 

The Mercy Alumnae Association is proud to announce this year's Distinguished Alumna is Mary Patricia McDougall '56. Mary Pat was nominated by her entire class for her lifelong commitment to Mercy values.

Members of the Class of 1956 - - if you would like to join your classmates at the Tea to see Mary Pat McDougall presented with her Distinguished Alumna Award, please contact alumnaeoffice@mhsmi.org.  We'd love to have you there to raise a cup in honor of Mary Pat who is truly a woman of Mercy.

Mother's Day Mailing

Each spring the Mercy Alumnae Association recognizes women who are making a difference in our communities and world. In the spirit of honoring such women, we invite you to pay tribute to a remarkable woman who made a difference in your life by donating to Mercy High School in honor of your friend or loved one. Your honoree will receive a special card in time for Mother's Day and all donations will support the education of women in need of tuition assistance.

To ensure you card will arrive in time for Mother's Day, please make your gift by May 1st and note your contribution is for the "Mother's Day Mailing" with the name and address of your honoree. Send to Mercy High School Alumnae Office 29300 W. Eleven Mile Rd Farmington Hills, MI 48336.

Head back to Mercy for the popular annual Mercy Student Art Exhibit held Thursday, May 8, 8 am to 8 pm and Friday, May 9, 8 am - 6 pm.

Reminisce about your treasured high school days while you stroll through the Mercy gym and be awed by all the breathtaking artwork from approximately 250 students. Drawing, painting, sculpture, fibers, ceramics, jewelry, and graphic design will be featured. CLICK HERE for more information.

Sock it up with U of D

The 60's, 70's, and 80's Alumnae of Mercy High School are invited to join the Alumni from U of D High at the first ever U of D Jesuit Alumni Sock Hop on Saturday, April 26. Dance held from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM at U of D Jesuit High School and Academy located at 8400 South Cambridge in Detroit.

Rock to Music of the 60s, 70s and 80s presented by Serious Jack featuring bassist Tom Valente '69. $25 per person or $40 per couple with light snacks and a cash bar.

Celebrate 1958

The Class of 1958 will be recognized during the Class of 2008 graduation ceremony on June 5th to celebrate their golden graduation from Mercy this year.  All '58 graduates are invited to a welcome reception at Ginopolis in the Compuware Arena.

Congratulations to Luanne Thomas Ewald '87 on being nominated for the ATHENA Award. The ATHENA Foundation's mission is to help individuals and organizations open doors of leadership opportunity for women.  The awards ceremony is this Friday, April 25th at 11:30am at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Warren.

Mercy High School has 2 full-time Counseling positions available for the 2008 - 2009 school year.  CLICK HERE for more information.

The Student Sweepstakes Drive is in full swing! Mercy girls are selling, selling, selling to surpass the $140,000 school goal. Hopefully you've purchased a book of tickets.
