Alumnae Association Hosts Lenten Series

Now that the Lenten season is upon us, mark your calendars for a three-part Lenten Series hosted by the Mercy Alumnae Association, Tuesday  March 13, Wednesday March 21 and Thursday March 29. 

Join Mercy women for a simple lenten meal of soup and bread followed by reflection in the Mercy Chapel.  Three dynamic Mercy women will speak on topics such as:  The Transformative Potential of Grief in Women, Walking Each Other Home and Women's Disicipleship-- A Portrait of Mary and Martha.  Visit the Lenten Series webpage for more information about the wonderful speakers. 

Last year over 30 women joined us each evening and enjoyed homemade soup donated by Mercy Ambassadors and Alumnae Board Members.  We hope to see both familiar and new faces at the series this year!

Last Chance for Auction Tickets 

The Mercy Auction is fast approaching!  Join us on Saturday, March 3rd.  Enjoy an elegant evening that includes a strolling buffet, mingling with Mercy alumnae, parents and staff, and hundreds of items to bid on. 

Members of the Mercy Alumnae Board, Kim Blotkamp Hilliard '87 (Alumnae Board President), Gina DeAgostino Gray '91, Melinda Smigelski Ernat '88, Arleen Brennan Bonello '56 and Pamela Krol Morath '67 will be there to greet all guests at check-in.  Stop by and say hello!

Mercy's Cup of Tea

Last year over 200 women raised their teacup to toast Mercy High School and the women who are making a difference at the Tea for Tuition.  We invite YOU to join us in celebration this year at the 3rd Annual Tea for Tuition on Sunday, April 29 from 2-4pm.  This fabulous afternoon event raises funds for the Tuition Assistance Program at Mercy.  Thanks to the success of the Tea for Tuition last year, over $5,000 was raised and the Mercy Alumnae Association was able to provide 10 scholarships to deserving Mercy students. 

Hosting a table is easy and fun!  Bring your favorite dishes and tea cups (paper products welcome!) and invite a few friends for a fun afternoon to benefit Mercy High School.  Mercy mingler tables are also available to those attending without a group.  Help us reach our goal of 30 tables hosted by Mercy alumnae...sign up today!

Another Successful Mercy Phonathon

Thank you to all Mercy Alumnae who picked up the phone and made a gift, pledge or updated your information during our recent phonathon.  Volunteers made hundreds of calls to alumnae all over the country and the world!  Over $12,000 was raised in two nights of calling.  Check out our volunteer callers in action on the Mercy website!
