BOOK PURCHASING 2010 - 2011 School Year

The Mercy Moms will once again be running the Used Book Sale. Drop off of books for sale will take place on August 17 and the sale will be held August 18. (See link below for class sale schedule.) Please check the 2010 Used Book List to see what books will be accepted for resale. Students will receive schedules by mail in the summer with further instructions on book purchasing from the Mercy Moms sale and/or from our online bookstore through Follett Virtual Bookstores. As a college preparatory school, Mercy High School recommends a strong academic program consisting of the following number of semesters:

Mercy follows a semi-modular schedule, designed as an adaptation of a college semester schedule. Students can elect as many as seven classes per semester but may take no fewer than five.

Mercy students receive a foundation that promotes academic success in college.

AP EXAMS 2009

117 students took 165 AP Exams in May 2009. 73% scored a 3 or higher overall, 14 out of 15 AP American Government students scored a 4 or 5, and 80% of AP English Lit scored a 3 or better. 15 students from the Class of 2009 earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the AP Exams.

Mercy Offers its students a wide variety of athletic teams, activities and clubs that cover a range or interests and abilities. Junior Varsity and Varsity levels of all sports are offered unless otherwise noted.
