A PERFECT 10

CONGRATULATIONS super skaters!  The Figure Skating Team won the State Championship after a skate-off Saturday, March 30 at the Detroit Skating Club.  Tara Ellis, Carly Francavilla, Karen Malloure, Kristen Malloure, Ashleigh Ostin, Claire Smyth, and Abby Tomba also received individual medals.

Ashleigh Ostin and Bianca Pomponio successfully completed the requirements of the senior moves-in-the-field and solo pre-gold dance test as conducted by U.S. Figure Skating Association.  Patricia Malaney completed the junior moves-in-the-field test.

GO MARLIN DADS

The Mercy DADS CLUB was named the Catholic League DADS CLUB of the YEAR for outstanding support of Mercy Athletics.

HALL OF FAME

Varsity Golf coach Vicky Kowalski will be inducted into the Catholic League Hall of Fame on June 11 for her outstanding 25+ year career.

Seniors Sign National Letters of Intent

Casey Pedersen was showcased as a WXYZ Channel 7 Scholar Athlete of the Week. Click here to see her interview.  She signed a National Letter of Intent to Binghampton University in New York to play DIVISION I Soccer on a four year full-ride soccer and academic scholarship.

Chelsea Sloan signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Illinois at Chicago accepting a four year full-ride scholarship to play DIVISION I Volleyball.  Chelsea will play middle hitter and blocker next year as a UIC Freshman.

Paige Sheridan will kick her way through Eastern Michigan University playing DIVISION I Soccer.  She signed a National Letter of Intent accepting a four year full-ride EMU soccer scholarship.
