Want a chance to meet new friends, have a fun evening and help support the Mercy Auction all at the same time? Please consider attending one of our gift gathering parties. The Mercy auction is the largest parent fundraiser of the year and we need everyone’s help. What could be more fun and easy?
Generous and gracious hosts are opening their homes to provide a warm and welcoming opportunity for you to become acquainted with other Marlin parents while collecting donated items for the Auction. This is a chance for people to get together, have fun, and bring a tax-deductible gift in support of the auction. Gift gath-ering parties have proven to be an integral part of the past success of our auction and play an important role in the acquisition of donations for the event.
WHERE AND WHEN ARE THE PARTIES?
Party locations and dates are listed below. Auction staff and committee members will be on hand to meet you, accept your donation, and introduce you to other parents.

WHAT TYPES OF ITEMS ARE DONATED AT GIFT GATHERING PARTIES?
The items can be as simple as a cash donation, gift certificates to restaurants, movie coupons, housewares, sporting event, concert, or play tickets, day spa certificates, shopping sprees, or collectibles and holiday items. Gifts can also be as elaborate as the use of a vacation condo, a lease on a car, or a luxury box for a concert or sporting event. Be sure to check with your employer about opportunities for corporate donations too. Other items needed are baskets for packaging and food and beverage donations for volunteers.
WHAT IF I CAN’T MAKE THE PARTY CLOSEST TO MY HOME?
By all means, attend the party most convenient for you. Whatever party you choose to attend, please RSVP to the hosts.
Dress is casual-bring a friend– we hope to see you there!
