The Sisters of Mercy West Midwest Education Sponsorship Council appointed upon recommendation of the Board of Trustees Dr. Cheryl Delaney Kreger, Ed.D. '66, Superintendent of Okemos Public Schools, to be the 2nd President of Mercy High School.

Since its founding in 1945, Mercy High School has been defined by its Mercy mission, values, and motto. Mercy High School continues to build on this strong foundation, taking the steps to ensure its vitality well into the future.

Having completed an ambitious strategic plan that details an inspiring vision for the future, Mercy launched a capital campaign in September 2007 that will provide the funding to realize the Mercy Vision: Investing in Excellence - Building Mercy's Future.
